Tax Collection and Due Dates

The following taxes are sent out on/or about March 1st of the current year.

• Real Estate Taxes (Township & Adams County): Applies to all property owners with property in Conewago Township
  • March 1st thru April 30th – 2% discount
  • May 1st thru June 30th – Face Value
  • July 1st thru December 31st – 5% penalty
  • Adams County – 10% penalty
• Per Capita Taxes – Municipal: Applies to all residents 18 years of age or older regardless of employment status
  • March 1st thru April 30th – 2% discount

  • July 1st thru December 31st – 5% penalty
  • Adams County – 10% penalty

• School Taxes: Applies to all property owners with property in Conewago Township
  • July 1st thru August 31st – 2% discount
  • September 1st thru October 31st – Face Value
  • November 1st thru March 31st – 10% penalty
• Per Capita Taxes – School: Applies to all residents 18 years of age or older regardless of employment status
  • July 1st thru August 31st – 2% discount
  • September 1st thru October 31st – Face Value
  • November 1st thru March 31st – 10% penalty
