Items to Recycle
The following items must be recycled and can be placed in the same recycling bin:

Paper
Construction paper, kraft paper, printer paper, computer paper, copy paper, junk mail, magazines, catalogs and phone books. Not accepted: wax coated paper

Cardboard
Corrugated cardboard, fiberboard (such as cereal boxes, shoe boxes or similar). Not accepted: wax coated cardboard

Gable-Top Containers
Empty and rinse gable-top milk and juice containers.

Metals
All beverage and food cans made of aluminum, iron, steel, tin or bi-metal (aluminum & steel) and aluminum foil and pie/baking tins. Rinse cans. Not accepted: pie plates, wire coat hangers, wire, etc.

Glass Containers
Food and beverage containers (bottles and jars) made of clear, green and brown glass. Remove caps/lids and rinse container. Do no break glass. Not accepted: mirrors, window or auto glass, drinking glasses, blue colored glass, light bulbs, Pyrex, glass cookware/bake ware, microwave-oven trays, ceramics, porcelain, pottery, perfume/cologne bottles, etc.

Plastic Containers
Natural and pigmented plastic narrow-neck food and beverage containers (milk bottles & jugs, water bottles, detergent bottles, shampoo bottles, bleach bottles, etc.) Check the bottom for numbers 1-7 in the triangular recycling symbol. Rinse and remove lids/caps. Not accepted: plastic bags, film & plastic wrapping, unnumbered plastics.

Newspaper
Black and white or pigmented. Clean newspaper only. Tie in a bundle not to exceed 40 lbs. or place in a paper bag. Do not put newspapers in plastic bags; recycle your plastic bags at your local grocery store.
